Trying to sell a luxury home worth millions of pounds has become near impossible for Britain’s richest man Lakshmi Mittal. The Billionaires home is located in Hampstead North London was on the market for £40 million pounds and the lack of a sale has meant that he is now offering the property to rent.
Lakshmi Mittal is an Indian industrialist based in the United Kingdom and the founder of Mittal Steel and has been the chairman and CEO of ArcelorMittal since the merge. He also serves as a non-executive director of Goldman Sachs, EADS and ICICI Bank. It is believed he is one of richest person in the world with an estimated personal wealth of US$19.3 billion
His house called the Summer Palace in Bishops Avenue Hampstead has 11 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms six reception rooms a glass lift, swimming pool Jacuzzi and steam room. Mr Mittal has owned the luxury home since 1996 paying nearly 7 million pounds for it. Neighbours include the Sultan of Brunei and various Saudi royals .
Local Estate agents at Glentree Estates estimate that the Summer Palace could rent for a cool £10,000 per week
