Located within half a mile of the main London to Inverness road access to both cities is quite easy, there is also a main line train station in the village giving easy and regular access North and South. There is also a regular bus service through the village. The village boasts a brand new sports and leisure centre which incorporates a new library. For the outdoor enthusiast Kingussie is a veritable mecca with easy access to the hills for walking, a superb mountain biking course not far away, skiing and plenty of climbing both summer and winter. There are plenty of rivers and lochs for the canoe and kayak enthusiasts. For the field sportsmen there is fishing, shooting and stalking right on the door step.
