The sea is within 1 hour's drive, Poole and the Dorset coast being anywhere from 45 minutes away. Access to the A303 takes around 20 mins and it's 1.5 hours to the M25. Alternatively there's a mainline train from Gillingham or Tisbury into Waterloo that takes 1hour 45 mins.
